FEARLESS I STAND
In the face
of a loaded gun,
Fearless I
stand,
In the depth
of troubled waters,
With
confidence I swim,
For who am
I?
A Nigerian,
Into the
eyes of a roaring lion,
Unscared I
stare,
From a
raging fire,
Resilient I
emerge,
For who am
I?
A
self-classed Nigerian,
From a den
of hungry lions,
A ring of
pen-thieves,
A cage of
crude-thirsty bastards,
Unbeaten I
step-out,
Abandoned by
my guardians,
Like a
castaway seashell,
On a
mudflat,
Valueable I
remain,
For who am
I?
An
openminded Nigerian,
Raped by my
fathers,
Abused by my
country,
A virgin I
remain,
Unabashed in
purity I sit,
Cheated by
my patriots,
Betrayed by
my fellows,
Unangered I
am,
For who am
I?
A Nigerian
unabated,
Morning
again-night before,
A Nigerian I
remain,
For the
struggle within,
Designed it
was,
To default
me 'pivotal'
A pivotal
Nigerian I am.
