Life's just complicated
Sometimes it's full of laughter
Poised with a bright weather
Other times
There are no rhymes
It's just dark, empty
No sympathy
Sometimes you push so hard
It feels so sad
You don't even understand
Why
So you sigh
'Cos still, things don't rhyme

Like a long road to no where
You can't even find the end of the tunnel, talk more of light there
You wonder how it works for Chinedu
And not for you, Biodun

You compare
And contrast
You analyse
And criticise
Then you're demonised

You begin to hate
Because on Facebook you've seen his fate
Pictures of moments
Not even a single torment
Pictures of laughter
Not a sight of sadness or anger

You become bitter
Because life isn't working as you planned it- sweeter
You don't even know if life's working as he wants- it differs

Life isn't fair to anyone
Everyone cries but some shoves it under their pillow
Sweet moments- that's only what you wanna borrow?

Master your storm
Take your chances
Crush your demons.
